How does the Fund Work?

Three important elements:

• The Scheme Rules
• The Application Guidelines and Loan Application
• The Loan Agreement

These elements operate together in a process:

• All enquiries welcome – informal discussion to establish eligibility & decision made to proceed or not.
• Formal application form completed, with supporting key documentation.
• Applications considered in the round by the ‘decision panel’.

Initial discussions are key to the process:

• Matching: project/business needs & Fund criteria.
• Support: key information requirements.
• Checking: coherent, clear business strategies are in place.
• Integration: with other providers of support eg. CASE, Highland Opportunity, SE etc.
